This article, via greylock and hestia, reminded me of something i've been meaning to ask for a while.

Does anyone know where the following snatch of dialogue comes from?

"Why have you forced me into this position?"

"Because you said it could never happen here, but we woke up one morning and we were in a fascist state."

(It's sampled on a Voodoo Lovecats record and i've been wondering for ages where it's from).

The Nazi references were very obvious though, and it wasn't exactly cutting edge political commentary (coming 40 odd years after the fall of the Reich). On the other hand, the targetting and discrediting of scientists as the main enemies of the Visitors' 'fascist state' could have some relevance today..
