May seem a silly question, but does anyone know much about daffodils and when/how long they're in season?
More specifically, i'm trying to work out if, say, a local supermarket seemed to have copious numbers of daffodils on sale at the registers each year around the time of the anti-cancer council's Daffodil Day appeal, though unrelated to said appeal, whether the fact that they're "in season" would be a fair explanation.
It would make sense that an appeal's theme might be chosen to be appropriate to what's in season, so i'd hate to jump to any rash conclusions.
