We picked up the keys to the new place on Saturday.
We were going to just shift a few things across there and start planning for more haulage, but we ended up carting and stowing until about 10.30 when we decided to pack it in for a cider, pizza and '40s zombie movie break before bed.
Yesterday was similarly spent shifting stuff, though we knocked off at a more sensible 8pm to get ready for bed and work. Amazingly, with so much stuff shifted, the old place is even more cramped (though a lot of this is cardboard boxes and unpacked things from furniture about to move). On the upside, the new place is staring to look like home as our bits and pieces slot into place.
Foolishly, i predicted that we wouldn't have any trouble sleeping last night, but Elaine spent until after midnight searching for some papers she needed and then we lay awake staring for a few more hours (not helped by wondering how many cousins of the three white tailed spiders we found inside were skulking around - never seen that many in one day, must have hitched a ride on some of those cardboard boxes).
I know i said we like spiders, but not *those* ones.
