Looked at the Old Place yesterday. It's even smaller than i remembered. No way could we fit in there even if we got rid of nearly everything we own.

I was amazed at the way it hasn't changed a bit in 11 years (a few different plants in the garden, but everything else frozen in time). Even the same single rusted bit of wire serving as a clothes line. Interesting to reminisce, but there's no going back.

On the other hand, we may have found the right place elsewhere..

More news when i know something real.

Sorted.

We've got a place, rent affordable, round the corner from where we are now, still with our favourite pub as our local. It's a little decrepit outside, but in the way that we like, and inside is lovely and should be just big enough for us (though we have to shed a lot of stuff regardless).

Of course, for all of that at a price we can afford, there has to be a catch. This one is in the shape of an outside toilet, but for the $100 odd a week difference i estimate that'd be making, we can live with that. (Somebody remind me i said that, come winter).

Anyway, we like spiders.

Now to get ready for the unpleasant business of packing, disassembling, moving, reassembling, fixing, scrubbing, disconnecting, reconnecting, redirecting..
