i was just saying to Usekh last night that i haven't heard of Sforzando playing anywhere lately. Lo and behold, today i read that they're playing this Friday at the Arthouse with Mr Coffee (groovy ska band).

Only trouble is we were planning to see the Dead Things, playing at the Green Room with Catwitch, so we'll have to choose. Oh, the angst.

(The following weekend has some more gigs at the Green Room - Mach Pelican and the Sinshifters on Friday, and Vampyre-X with numerous oi-punk bands on Saturday, though i'll probably wait to see them on the 27th with Zombie Ghost Train).

Mach Pelican are on at the Green Room on the 20th with the Sinshifters (thrash/psychobilly - if you've ever heard the Fireballs it's pretty much the same band).

The ZGT gig is on the 27th at the Arthouse (handy place for all these Friday gigs, right down the road from Dream).

i've actually started doing that, so that i know in advance if there's going to clashes with things like refereeing if i get asked.

Elaine's doing the same, as she's always getting offers of weekend work then cursing when she realises she's booked herself in for the morning after something she really wanted to go to.

BTW what time are they playing at the arthouse? (and which gig are you going too? :)

Don't know for sure, but i think Mr Coffee are the main band, so i'd imagine Sforzando would be about 10.30ish. Safest to ring the Arthouse to be sure.

We're probably going to the Dead Things gig tonight, but if you're going to Nicky's shop opening i might see you there.
