What do i want?
Feb. 20th, 2007 01:26 pmThese were my own answers to Laura's "what do you want?" post.
- To know what to do with my life.
- Good friends.
- To know how to make a difference, how to make the world better.
- To become the sort of person i'd admire - calm collected, knowledgeable, assertive, forgiving, slow to anger, quick to act, centred and confident.
- A night on the town every now and then, when i can feel excited to head into the city, rather than anxious.
- Health and happiness, for me, those close to me, and as many others as possible.
Is that all?
Not by a long shot, but i think those would cover the important things..
I really should have kept playing that longer, but after starting with the above ideas, "getting the house re-stumped" or "making the Australian poomsae team so i can go to Korea" don't seem as important. Plus, i could go on forever with all the things i want.
Interestingly, most of the answers go some of the way to addressing the first thing on my list. Perhaops it really is a shame i didn't keep going.
