and before i forget..

i just wanted to mention that my local library rocks. Wandered in there yesterday, having all but forgotten it was even there, only to find all of the authors i'd gone looking for in vain so many times at the main Fitzroy library. Had to narrow it down to just four so i didn't hog them all. So many of the things i want to read, right around the corner from home. i suspect the gothly librarian i've seen in there some times may have something to do with it.

Though i usually hate the incessant polls and quizzes that proliferate on
usenet and el-Jay, i'll make an exception when it can be used for the
purposes of self-interested personal gain.
