darren_strangerHad an unusual dream this morning, in that (a) i can actually remember a reasonable portion of it and (b) it wasn't based almost entirely on television (though the bulk of it did relate to the book i'm reading at the moment - China Mieville's 'The Scar'). It was also unusual in that i was in it as myself (at least after the book-related parts) and there were also a few bit-parts with people i know on LJ (and only slightly, if at all, in real life). smilesnspiders who i realised had given birth and i had to offer congratulations as well as apologies for not noticing last time i saw her, together with gothsuck (who'd had her hair cropped short like Fairuza Baulk in 'The Craft') and a few others i didn't know or don't remember. At some time i also came across a console game called nutzboy, which i figured was where trayce's boything got his name from.
There was also a rare x-rated part in the dream, though i have no idea who the hippyish girl in question was based on (though i was left with terrible stubble-rash and an uneasy feeling about the consequences of reckless abandon in the pursuit of free love without regard to safe sex practices), nor who the dark-haired girl driving the car was (though it was a left-hand drive, so perhaps it was taking place in America).
Maybe i should sleep in more often, so i could get time to have proper dreams.

I mean I love The Craft as a teenage movie & I suppose Fairuza in that film has my BIG MOUTH, pointy boots & wears long velvet skirts.... which I suppose is a rarity these days. But I never thought I looked like her.
