darren_strangerThe Shinshifters are no longer playing the Tote tomorrow, replaced by Bastard Squad. From the way the Tote's ad is worded, No Idea appear to be on last and, since i have no interest in seeing the other two bands, i think i'll give it a miss. Better option for the night seems to be ska bands at the Arthouse.
However, Friday night has even better choices: The Sinshifters are now on at the Arthouse, together with the Frantics (who are supposed to be quite good) and someone called Shallow Grave. That would be my first choice, but now i read in Beat that Ikon are playing with Immaculata at Dream as well. i know Elaine would probably prefer the latter, though i'm more in the mood for the psychobilly bands. i wonder if it could even be possible to catch a bit of both, the Arthouse being down the road from Dream, though that would depend on the times. Decisions, decisions..
Correction - Ikon aren't on at Dream, just Immaculata.. so the possibilities of slipping between the two might be just a little less slim.
